Yahoo News Hollyoaks confirms new romance plot for Ste
Hollyoaks kicks off a potential new romance storyline for Ste Hay next week as he confides in Jonny Baxter about feeling lonely.
Ste has been single since splitting from Harry Thompson last year, but upcoming scenes see him tell Jonny (Ray Quinn) that he misses having a boyfriend.
The troubled character comes to this realisation after an unexpected catch-up with Harry (Parry Glasspool).
As we've already revealed, Harry comes to visit Ste next week under instruction from his dad Tony Hutchinson.
Tony wants Harry to talk some sense into Ste, who has recently been initiated into Jonny and Stuart Sumner's far-right extremist group.
After the catch-up, Ste tells Jonny about wanting a new love interest and is pleased when Jonny promises to set him up with someone.
Of course, Jonny's top priority is always to keep Ste on his side, so he's sure to have an ulterior motive when he picks his next partner.
Kieron Richardson, who plays Ste, previously hinted to Digital Spy that a new relationship story was on the way for his character.
Speaking earlier this month, he said: "I'm about to do a scene with another boy. Could it be a new love interest?"
Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Friday, July 5 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
