Hollyoaks has curated a special playlist for this week's far-right episodes.

The Channel 4 soap has collaborated with Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) on the week-long specials, which will see Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) react furiously to the news that Sinead O'Connor (Stephanie Davis) is engaged to Sami.

This in turn causes far-right groomer Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons) to set a sinister plan in motion.

Rita Ora, Stormzy and many other UK artists have given their tracks to be used across the special episodes, all of which will be added to the Hollyoaks Music 2019 Spotify playlist.

The songs include 'Soul Survivor' (Rita Ora), 'Crown' (Stormzy), 'Love and Hate' (Michael Kiwanuka), 'Kindred' (Rationale), 'Run Run' (RAY BLK), 'Screwdriver' (Mystery Jets), 'Walk' (Kwabs) and 'Silence' (Grace Carter).

In addition, emerging artist BOBBi and duo Hannie have written new track 'Calling Out' to be featured in the soap.

For months, Ste has been groomed into far-right radical beliefs by the likes of Stuart and Jonny Baxter (Ray Quinn).

However, this week's episodes and their tragic consequences make Ste realise that his 'new friends' are in fact highly dangerous.

Hollyoaks has worked with the Home Office body Prevent throughout the long-running storyline.

"Because of how passionately the music industry feels about tackling racism, it wasn't difficult to find artists who'd allow their tracks to be used to support this vital cause," said Paul Samuels, VP, A&R, Atlantic Records & East West and Co-Founder of LMHR.

"Hollyoaks and LMHR are hopefully making people question and interrogate news, where they get it from and dangerous insidious views.

"Young people have the voice to say no to racism and anyone with a platform, like Hollyoaks and the music industry, should support it."

Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 and E4.
