Hollyoaks' Connor Calland taken to hospital after football match injuries
Former Hollyoaks star Connor Calland has revealed he was taken to hospital over the weekend after injuring himself during a football match.
The actor, who played drug dealer Jordan Price in 2019 and 2020, revealed on his Instagram that a match in Cardiff led to some nasty injuries.
Posting a photo of himself with his team, Calland wrote: "60 minutes later... 2 fractures and a ligament pop... Gotta love the [Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama] game."

In now-expired Instagram Stories, the actor shared photos of himself with a sling on his arm and a brace on his knee. "Goes to play one football match..." wrote his girlfriend Monica.
"2 fractures in my arm and a knee brace... not ideal," Calland himself added.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy after Jordan's last scenes aired, Calland said leaving the soap was bittersweet, but loved his experience on the show and hopes to do more continuing drama in the future.

"I'm sad that I won't be stepping back on set at Hollyoaks, but it's also a pleasure to look back at the storyline and how it's all played out over the past year. It's been a big, mixed bag of emotions," he said at the time.
"Starting on the soap and having this be my first major job had its challenges, I had to overcome the pace of the work and how professional everyone is. It was a case of getting used to that, but I love being that busy and I'd love to stay within the soap world."
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
