Hollyoaks' Donny to accuse Ethan of being Blue in new scenes

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks' Donny Clark is set to accuse Ethan Williams of being the gangster Blue in next week's episodes, as Warren Fox's exit storyline builds up to its explosive climax.

Viewers know that Blue is Ethan's half-brother Dave Williams, and while Tom Cunningham will work out the truth next week, former policeman Donny, who has spent years trying to nail Blue, arrives at the wrong conclusion.

In scenes airing in the first week of September, Leah Barnes tells Vicky Grant that dad Donny is going to be furious when he finds out she's seeing Ethan. Soon enough, he finds out, and he's mad.

As Donny liaises with his police force contacts to try to pinpoint Blue's identity, the fact that he's dating Vicky only adds fuel to the fire of his suspicions. He breaks out an old polygraph lie detector and asks Ethan outright if he is Blue.

Later, Vicky is angry that Ethan, who previously wouldn't kiss her in public, is ghosting her. Donny is still convinced it's because he's Blue.

Meanwhile, Donny gets a text from Misbah Maalik, who says she is staying with a friend. Given that Donny actor Louis Emerick recently teased that Misbah will be in "serious danger" before this storyline ends, is this text all that it seems?
