Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Toby Faroe has been tricked into confessing his murderous sins to the evil Dr Ley in Hollyoaks.

In Friday's (February 5) first-look episode, Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin) finally convinced Celeste (Andrea Ali) to bring Toby (Bobby Gordon) home from Dr Ley (Sabina Cameron).

When Celeste turned up at The Loft, Dr Ley held her off by warning that they'd irreparably damage Toby if she were to remove him from treatment while he was on the verge of a breakthrough.

Celeste remained suspicious, so she took photos of Dr Ley's notes behind the sinister therapist's back, later realising that the doctor was secretly compiling notes for a new book on her brother.

"Dr Ley's not helping Toby, I think she's just exploiting him," Celeste told Cleo.

Once Celeste was out of the picture, Dr Ley hooked Felix up to a lie detector and got him to confess all of his sins — accidentally killing Lisa Loveday and then framing his brother Mitchell, as well as trying to kill his mum Martine.

Dr Ley put Toby to bed and gleefully declared victory on her voice recording, saying: "My hypothesis was a child deprived of love would become full of rage. Toby's confession just now has proved that beyond a doubt.

"The subject is and always will be irreparably damaged, whilst I have the perfect ending to my new book."

Can Celeste and Cleo save Toby before Dr Ley exposes all of Toby's secrets?
