Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks villain Edward Hutchinson will begin to panic next week, as his cruel plan for Tony threatens to unravel.
Tony (Nick Pickard) is currently being manipulated by his evil father Edward (Joe McGann), who first tampered with his medication and later convinced him he was suffering from a brain tumour.
Edward is trying to get Tony out of the picture so he can once again win over Diane (Alex Fletcher), with his daughter Verity Hutchinson even promising she won't get in the way of his deplorable scheming.
Recent episodes have seen Tony's family grow increasingly concerned about his erratic behaviour, as he swings between being excited for his future and absolutely furious at any given moment.
Next week, Edward will panic when he hears that Tony wants a second opinion from the doctor over his health.
Thinking on his feet, Edward tells Tony that he lied about the most recent test results and even insists that he is ready to go back to work after all.
Confident that his scheme is now back on track, Edward later tells Diane that Tony's changed personality might be forever, but how much longer will he get away with this for?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes on Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7pm on E4.
