With so much going on in Hollyoaks last night, you may have missed a big clue that Eva Falco had a bombshell to drop just before she died.

Eva was brutally murdered by Grace Black in Monday's E4 first look episode, leaving her boyfriend Liam Donovan devastated as he found her dead on the train they were escaping on.

But just before Liam went off to see the guard (a fatal mistake), Eva had hinted that she had a secret to share with him.

Eva told him: "Things are going to change. I know I've been all over the place, but that's the old me. Being with you is everything. And there's something else I haven't told you."

And when Liam pointed out that sounded very serious, she replied: "It is."

Intriguing! Well, gangster Grace made sure that Eva didn't get a chance to reveal anything more, but Hollyoaks fans are already convinced that she was about to tell Liam she was pregnant with his child.

When Kerry Bennett, who played Eva, appeared on a Hollyoaks Facebook Live broadcast last night, she was inundated with messages about her character's secret.

Keeping impressively tight-lipped, Kerry would only say: "That will become more apparent the more you watch."

Of course, Eva was a pretty secretive character anyway, so a baby bombshell isn't the only possibility. Maybe she already has a child out there that she didn't tell anyone about?

Or could it be that Eva was hiding a dark secret completely separate from her vendetta against Jack Osborne?

We've heard that the secret will be revealed in the not-too-distant future, so watch this space...

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
