Felix Westwood has had a surprise offer to return to the village in Hollyoaks.

In advance of Thursday's (September 9) Black to Front Project episode featuring an all-Black cast, Felix got a call from his daughter Celeste Faroe begging him to come to the family's BBQ.

Wednesday's (September 8) first-look E4 featured Martine opening up to her daughter about her tumultuous history with Felix.

When Celeste encouraged her mum to invite Felix to the BBQ, Martine was hesitant even though she was clearly in pain over their split.

Celeste grew even more concerned when Celeste discovered that it was actually her grandfather Walter who'd ordered Felix to leave the village — just as he'd done so long ago.

After a distraught Martine overheard the conversation, Celeste was determined to make things right by ringing her dad to beg Felix to come home.

Celeste explained that the family were having a BBQ, so it would be the perfect time for Felix to surprise Martine after all that had gone on recently.

"She's hanging by a thread and you're the only one who can make her happy. Look, this is your last chance to make it right, dad," Celeste insisted. "If you love her, you love any of us, come back and fight for her."

Felix will indeed return for the family BBQ, but his arrival will lead to his disaster when his estranged son DeMarcus follows with plans to impress him.

Hollyoaks airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
