Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Grace Black has inadvertently caused new problems for Summer Ranger over the shooting in Hollyoaks.

Summer (Rhiannon Clements) shot Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) in shocking scenes earlier this week, though she later wrote in her diary that Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) was her true target.

She was eventually able to convince Sienna that she'd been caught in the crossfire of the County Lines drug trade, and has moved on to her plan to make Brody fall in love with her as part of a new vendetta.

However, in Thursday's (February 25) first-look episode, Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart) begged her sister to turn off "detective mode" when Sienna admitted she was consumed with finding her shooter.

Sienna refused to leave it alone, first approaching Sid to see whether he had any contacts within the gangs. Sid urged her to leave it with the police because "the people in them gangs are vicious".

Then, Grace (Tamara Wall) turned up to crack jokes about her getting shot, but backed off when Sienna started tearing up in front of her.

As the two bantered about their chequered past, Grace intrigued Sienna by mentioning that it wasn't really her M.O. to simply "carry on crying about" her shooting.

"You have spent years making enemies left, right and center," Grace pointed out. "You think you were just randomly caught up in some crossfire? My theory: it was someone you know… Sienna, somebody tried to kill you!

"And if you're half the woman I think you are, you are not going to move on until you find out who did this.

Grace encouraged her to "forget about Brody", and instead focus on putting this "mystery culprit" in prison "where they belong".

Later, Grace arrived back at her flat just in time to find Summer writing in her diary about her plans for revenge against Brody – forcing her to hide it under the cushions on the settee.

Grace gossiped all about her conversation with Sienna, telling Summer that she'd encouraged Sienna to concentrate on solving her shooting mystery.

"If there's one thing I can say about her, it's that when she wants something, she's not going to let anything get in the way of her finding it," Grace said. "Right now, good luck to whoever did it because they don't stand a chance."

Grace's inadvertent warning alarmed Summer as the episode came to a close.

Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
