Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks’ Hunter McQueen will make a shocking discovery in his ongoing story with Freya Calder.

It’s been a hectic period for Hunter, with his brother Prince being falsely accused of sexual assault by Rayne, causing a rift with Romeo in the process.

It hasn’t been smooth sailing for Hunter himself, with the teacher fearing that one of his students, Freya, may have a crush on him.

In scenes set to air next week, Hunter will continue to develop his relationship with Zoe, with Goldie giving him just the push he needs.

Freya, who has been following her teacher around the village, later asks Hunter if he can view her artwork, to which he agrees.

As he meets Zoe for a drink, the police officer states that conventional wisdom would say she's not ready for another relationship just yet, but she is willing to ignore what her head is telling her and follow her heart instead.

With a spring in his step after a date at the Love Boat, Hunter eventually views Freya's artwork, but is worried when he twigs that it represents him.

Nervous that Freya is becoming too attached, Hunter recalls a period in his own life when a similar situation arose with one of his teachers, and vows – with advice from John Paul – to put an end to the matter.

As he meets Freya, she confesses that she is in love with him, with Hunter making it very clear that they are strictly teacher and student.

Freya doesn't accept no for an answer, storming off as things get heated between the pair. Will Hunter be able to convince her that such a relationship can never happen between them?...
