Hollyoaks lawyer James Nightingale makes another shock discovery next week when he realises that Scott Drinkwell has been stealing from him. Took him long enough!

James (Gregory Finnegan) recently became a victim of identity fraud when Scott stole his credit card and started using it for some wild spending sprees.

Scott returns to the village following some time away next week and he's heartbroken when he finds out that John Paul McQueen has left for good.

Clingy as ever, Scott immediately starts making plans for a holiday so that he can visit him – although we'd like to think John Paul is busy enough with McDean-related matters!

Scott books himself some business-class flight tickets on James's credit card, but makes a huge blunder in the process and the confirmation is sent straight to James.

After making such a big mistake, Scott is powerless to stop James from finding out the truth and it's not long before he faces the lawyer's wrath.

James comes down hard on Scott by making him pay back everything that he's stolen so far, with interest, which means that his debts stand at over £5,000. Yikes!

With James in a particularly ruthless mood after losing John Paul, we really wouldn't want to be in Scott's shoes right now...

John Paul's final scenes aired earlier this week, as he left the village with his young son Matthew in order to take up a new career opportunity abroad.

Fans were delighted when he received an unexpected call from his ex-boyfriend Craig Dean as he was leaving, hinting that they could reunite after four years apart.

In the aftermath, James took his revenge on John Paul by burning his clothes – infuriating Sally St Claire in the process. But at least making Scott's life a misery should take his mind off his heartbreak for a while...

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
