Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Joel Dexter hides a big secret from Goldie after Theresa betrayal

Hollyoaks' Joel Dexter will hide a secret from his girlfriend Goldie McQueen after growing close to Theresa.
The Channel 4 soap will be revisiting Joel's history with Theresa (Jorgie Porter), who returned to the village last month.
Cracks in Joel's (Rory Douglas-Speed) relationship with Goldie (Chelsee Healey) will begin to appear before that, as it's implied that he could still be harbouring feelings for another McQueen – Cleo.
Joel and Cleo split up over two years ago now, and he's been focusing on his romance with Goldie in her time away from Chester.
That said, Joel's jealousy is palpable when Toby asks Cleo out on a date in upcoming scenes, leaving Goldie feeling insecure about their future together.
As Goldie addresses concerns that she's simply a consolation prize for Joel, her fears appear to be well-founded when Theresa offers to inject some fun back into his life.
Concerned about where this could be heading, Cleo warns Joel to stay away from Theresa – she's a bad influence.
Unfortunately, Joel doesn't listen and is left regretting his actions with Theresa not long afterwards.
Panic-stricken about Goldie finding out what he's done, Joel asks for Cleo's help in keeping what happened a secret. But will she agree?
Hollyoaks' Christmas trailer suggested that Joel could betray Goldie by getting passionate with Theresa, but with the doll still lurking, how long until his sins are exposed?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
