Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
John Paul McQueen has warned Sally St Claire not to tell the truth over George's murder in Hollyoaks.
Earlier this week, John Paul (James Sutton) confessed to killing his boyfriend in order to conceal the truth that Sally (Annie Wallace) had actually been the one responsible.
As John Paul sat in a prison cell in Friday's (May 21) first-look episode, Sally was intent on telling DS Cohen about what really happened.
In spite of Theresa begging her not to put Kathleen-Angel at risk by incriminating her mum, Sally pushed forward — but was essentially laughed out of the police station because John Paul had already confessed.
Sally refused to give up but had a shock when she later tried to apologise to John Paul on their first video call.
"You have no idea how much it's going to hurt to watch you rot away for something you've not done," Sally admitted.
John Paul was unsympathetic, telling Sally: "Maybe it's something you deserve."
As Sally begged John Paul to retract his confession so she could tell DS Cohen the truth, he warned her to keep her mouth shut or else.
"When I think about what you did, I just feel really angry. I thought I confessed to help you, but the truth is, I think I was doing it to help me," he insisted. "If I can't have George, then I need to be in here, where my life can have a little bit of structure."
Sally tried to explain that she'd made a promise to never let him out of her life again, but John Paul interrupted: "If you don't drop this, you will never see me or your grandson ever again."
What will Sally decide to do?
