Hollyoaks' Juliet Quinn suffered a crushing blow in Wednesday's (November 4) episode as her hopes to win over Peri Lomax appeared to be dashed by bad boy Jordan Price.

Juliet was hoping for a chance with Peri following their passionate kiss now she's feeling more confident, and her new outlook on life appeared to be impressing her love interest.

However, Jordan tried to worm his way back in after returning following Sami Maalik and James Nightingale getting him released from prison, and he issued a chilling threat to his love rival to warn her off Peri.

Juliet initially made it clear she doesn't "want anything to do with someone who's just come out of prison" after his drug dealing past became public knowledge, while Juliet scoffed that he's a "filthy drug dealer" during their meeting.

"You wanna be careful with the naming and shaming," he snapped back at Juliet after Peri stepped away. "I know you like Peri just as much as me. Get in my way and I'll shut you up for good."

Juliet initially seemed undeterred and continued to make major progress with Peri, as the latter even told her she "loved" the new her while thanking her for having her back with Jordan.

However, things took a turn for Juliet during a chat with Sid when Peri overheard them exchanging some harsh words. She told Juliet she no longer wanted to spend the day with her and scolded the duo for acting like children.

After that sour note, Jordan took another chance at shooting his shot and poured his heart out to Peri in the hopes she'd give him a second chance. He called prison the "best thing that ever happened to" him because it made him straighten up.

He told Peri she was the "girl of [his] dreams" and continued to play on her feelings by telling her he'd "never forget" her and "everything that could have had" together.

And it seemed to work, as Peri invited him back to her house while everyone was out and the two ended up in bed together.

But while it looked as though she may be willing to forgive and forget, Peri still doesn't know that Jordan had been seeing her mum Leela, which could throw a spanner in the works.

Either way, it seems like Peri has a big decision to make...

Elsewhere, George was ruled out as the McQueen blackmailer by John Paul following yesterday's shock twist, meaning the residents of Hollyoaks are still no further forward in finding out their identity as Silas Blissett continues to torment.
