Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Lacey Lloyd caught out in Rayne murder story
Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Monday’s episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Tuesday.
The latest episode of Hollyoaks saw Lacey Lloyd caught out following the aftermath of Rayne’s murder.
Last week, influencer Rayne was found dead in the swimming pool at a mansion she was staying at with her friends and enemies, leaving viewers with something of a who-dunnit. The aftermath of Rayne’s death, however, has seen Rayne's best friend Lacey hide a secret.

Early in the episode, Lacey was seen cleaning windows after someone had graffitied the words "Lizzie killed Rayne".
Later, Lacey and Nadira offered Lizzie a room in their shared house, to which she responded enthusiastically. However, Lacey’s joy at seeing her friend momentarily happy was halted after she received a phone call. She took the phone to the next room. However, Nadira was listening from behind the door...
"Yeah, this is Lacey. Really? Okay, I’ll be there soon," Lacey was heard saying. Lacey then lied to Nadira, telling her she needed to go out to pick something up from the office. Lacey told Nadira to stay with Lizzie and assured her she wouldn’t be long.

Later, Lacey left the police station and, on the phone to Nadira, again lied about where she was, saying she was leaving the office. Unbeknownst to her, however, Nadira was around the corner and saw Lacey leave the police station. Nadira hung up, clearly concerned about Lacey’s behaviour.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
