Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Maxine makes a big mistake as Dr Levi targets her
Hollyoaks' Maxine Minniver will make another big mistake after Dr Levi Rochester targets her again next week.
Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) is currently taking centre stage in a Munchausen's syndrome storyline, which has seen her fool her fiancé Damon Kinsella by pretending to be seriously ill.
This week's episodes will see Maxine's problems go from bad to worse when Dr Levi (Cerith Flinn) pays her a visit and asks if he can review her case again.
Dr Levi still believes that Maxine is fabricating her symptoms and suggests that she should arrange an appointment with a psychologist.
As Maxine continues to ignore Levi's advice, she is horrified when Scott invites him to be his plus one at her and Damon's wedding.
Although Levi accepts the offer, he is still suspicious about Maxine and further infuriates her when he tells her about a new treatment that could help her 'symptoms'.
Desperate to keep him off her back, Maxine later heads to Levi's office and is given two pills to take that will help with her 'constant pain'.
However, Dr Levi is left shocked when Maxine actually takes the pills, without even knowing what they are. Realising she has been caught out, Maxine soon rushes out – accidentally leaving her crutches behind.
Keen to keep up the pretence afterwards, Maxine heads off to her hen do, but is confused when she arrives to find all the girls in tears. What have they found out?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
