Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks' Ollie Morgan has betrayed Sid Sumner in Monday's (March 1) first-look episode.

Sid (Billy Price) has been working for County Lines drugs boss Victor Brothers (Benjamin O'Mahony) in order to bring down his empire from the inside.

His latest attempt to take down Victor saw Sid plant a recording device inside Victor's car while delivering him cash from a drugs score.

Initially it looked like Sid would get away with his plot when Victor had to step away for a phone call, but the teen was interrupted by Ollie (Gabriel Clark).

"Sid, what are you doing?" Ollie demanded.

He was forced to admit he was planting a bug to help get Juliet out of jail. Sid was finally able to get rid of Ollie momentarily by promising him drugs later on, but didn't realise that Ollie's intrusion would come back to haunt him.

Still, he managed to plant the bug and even got Victor to admit that he'd coerced Juliet into working for him by threatening to harm her family while the device was recording too.

Sid returned to the village to retrieve the flash drive of the audio from James and Ste, then brought it back to Leela's so he could gather it with the rest of his evidence against Victor.

Ollie approached him for his free ketamine, but Sid tried to explain how his friend's compulsion nearly put him in harm's way.

"I'd have said anything to get you to jog on," Sid admitted. "Because that's the thing with junkies, they're always thinking about when the next bag is coming. Blind to what's really going on."

His harsh words cut Ollie deeply, leaving him to turn to Victor. When his attempts to get some free ketamine failed, Ollie broke down and revealed what he knew.

"It's about Sid," he revealed. "He bugged your car and he got a confession out of you."
