Jemma, who plays Rayne Royce, and Owen, who plays Romeo Nightingale, have taken their on-screen chemistry off-screen, with the pair making their first official outing together as a couple yesterday (June 3). Looking smitten with each other, the duo posed for several photos together as they walked the red carpet.

A vision in red, the pair wore complimenting outfits, with Jemma in a full-length red dress with her hair down and partnered with red shoes with Owen wearing a deep red velvet tuxedo jacket and black trousers and shoes.

Jemma initially shared a single photo of them both together smiling, which prompted many fans to ask if they were an item, with the soap star adding a slide show from their holiday shortly after with the caption: "Dreamy lil few days".

Talking to The Sun about their relationship, Owen joked: "Jemma kept messaging me and messaging and asking me to go on dates and then I just gave in. Ahhh seriously though, it took me a while to pluck up the courage to ask her out. I've just been on holiday with her family, they are all amazing."
