Hollyoaks has aired a sad new storyline twist for Harry Thompson, revealing that he's sleeping rough.

Harry (Parry Glasspool) was recently kicked out by his dad Tony Hutchinson after reluctantly admitting that he was the one who killed Amy Barnes. (Or so he thinks, anyway!)

Afterwards, the troubled student was thought to have gone to stay with his mum Tessie – but Wednesday's E4 first look episode (October 18) confirmed that he never turned up at her house.

With Tony and Diane both doing detective work to track Harry down, word soon reached him that they were looking for him. This brought Harry back home in the (rather optimistic) hope of moving straight back in.

Unsurprisingly, Tony still wasn't too keen on having a killer living under his roof and he turned his back on Harry for a second time, missing his chance to make peace.

Tony thinks that Harry is staying with a friend, but in reality he's homeless and has been sleeping on the streets.

Would Tony help his son if he knew the truth?

In the meantime, it looks like Tony has even more trouble ahead as he's also just confessed to Diane about his recent kiss with his ex-wife Mandy.

It's fair to say that Diane won't react too well to this revelation, so Hollyoaks fans should prepare themselves for fireworks!

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
