Yahoo News Hollyoaks reveals whether Peri Lomax is dead
Hollyoaks fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it looks like Peri Lomax isn't dead after all.
Last night's episode saw Peri's mum Leela rocked by DS Thorpe's devastating news that they might have found the teenager's body, weeks after she went missing.
Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) threw Peri out of the family home amid an almighty row last month and has been unable to locate her since.
After several unsuccessful attempts to find Peri, Leela's world was turned upside down by the latest development – which meant that she then faced the harrowing task of identifying the body.
Tonight's first look scenes (March 22) revealed that the body found wasn't actually Peri – prompting Leela to break down in relief at the hospital.
However, Leela sparked concern in the aftermath as she started to behave increasingly erratically while looking after Leah and Lucas.
Opening up to a worried Louis later on, Leela admitted that she wanted Peri to be dead so that her pain could finally end. Will Leela ever be reunited with her daughter? Or is there more heartbreak ahead?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
