Hollyoaks revisits Katy Fox's death as Warren threatens Joel

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has revisited the death of Hannah Tointon's character Katy Fox as part of Warren's robbery plot.

Long-time viewers will remember that Warren's sister Katy was killed off-screen from drugs that were supplied to her by Joel and Bart McQueen, before Joel turned his life around.

The shocking Fox family secret resurfaced in Friday's (July 30) first-look E4 episode, when Joel found out that his father Warren was involved in the Price Slice robbery from earlier in the week.

Joel demanded his father turn himself in over the crime, but a furious Warren decided to take extreme measures under more pressure from his dodgy business partner Fergus.

Warren called Joel to his sister Katy's grave, then viciously turned on Joel by reminding he was to blame for his sibling's death.

The villain then threatened his son: "I wonder where I'd be without you. Maybe on a beach somewhere, sipping a cocktail with my beautiful sister Katy. But you had to go and kill her, didn't you? Such a blessing you are.

"So many times, you have let me down. Held me back. You have got some nerve boy, preaching to me about what's right or wrong. So, I am going to send you back to your God, and you can ask him yourself!"
