Hollyoaks actor Rory Douglas-Speed has revealed some potentially earth-shattering news: he's changed his hair colour again.

The soap star took to Instagram yesterday (January 20) to admit he's missing his dark hair, having recently dyed it blonde again for his role as priest Joel Dexter.

Rory shared an image of himself with dark hair and captioned it: "Already missing my Dark hair."

The actor had recently stopped dying his hair blonde for the role and temporarily blew everyone's minds with his new look, but it seems he's now reacquainted himself with a bottle of a bleach.

Speaking to Digital Spy recently, Rory revealed that he'd finally got used to having brown hair in the soap.

"I've finally got used to it – it took a bit of time to get used to having brown hair again. Everybody in the Hollyoaks studio only knew me with blonde hair. Surprisingly some of the audience thought it was natural, which baffled me as my eyebrows are the same colour as my hair!

"It's nice to get back to normal again. It's nice to have my hair back, although a few people were looking through me and thinking: 'Who's that guy?' I'm not sure I liked that part!"

Alas, it's back to being a blondie for Rory now, until the next time his character arc is in dire need of brown hair again.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
