Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Sally St Claire will begin to suspect George Kiss's dark intentions for John Paul McQueen in Hollyoaks.

Viewers know that George (Callum Kerr) has been coercively controlling his boyfriend John Paul (James Sutton) over the last several months, including shaming his partner over experiencing sexual abuse.

George has also managed to get the other McQueens and even Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan) on his side to convince John Paul that he's his ideal partner.

Next week, George will plant seeds of doubt throughout the community about John Paul when he falsely leads nurse Peri Lomax to think his boyfriend has been physically abusive.

Everything comes to a head when Sally (Annie Wallace) overhears George making a candid admission to DS Cohen (Ariana Fraval) about his relationship with John Paul.

Sally is even more horrified when Cohen asks George if John Paul has ever hit him, and her son's boyfriend doesn't completely deny it.

The Hollyoaks High headteacher starts to suspect that George may be misleading everyone, so she mentions to John Paul that the PC may not be the gentleman everyone believes him to be.

Sally's worries grow the following day when she suspects George is going to propose to John Paul as the PC plans a big romantic gesture.

She ends up interrupting the two at an inopportune moment, leaving George furious that his plans have been ruined.

The incident leaves Sally more determined than ever to make John Paul see the truth about George, but her son just won't listen.

The Hollyoaks High headteacher decides that she is going to have to expose George herself in order to protect her son. But what does Sally have planned to reveal George's abusive tendencies?
