Hollyoaks' Shaq Qureshi finally broke and confronted Ali about his abusive behaviour in tonight's dramatic episode (November 15).
Misbah recently opened up about being raped by Ali at university 30 years ago, leading to Shaq's conception.
Tonight, Sami and James continued to try and dig up dirt on Ali to bolster Misbah's sexual harassment allegations. They discovered that Ali had left his previous job after just three months, and thought there must be a reason, suspecting sexual harassment claims.
However, later they found out that he had travelled abroad to help in a "hunger crisis".
Ali confronted Misbah at the hospital, threatening to end her career if she spoke up about his abuse. "Be careful Misbah… I could still report Shaq to the police," he told her.
He then told her that the hospital was honouring him with an award for his contributions to oncology. Shaq and Imran were furious to hear this and vowed to make Ali pay for what he had done.
Misbah was concerned about Imran's behaviour, asking Sami and James to look over him to prevent him doing anything "impulsive".
Imran pleaded with Shaq: "Everyone needs to know what kind of man he is, otherwise he's going to keep on getting away with it."
In a private conversation, Sami and James asked her what she wanted to do, and she told them she wanted to build a watertight case against Ali. "I'm a woman of colour accusing a well-respected man. We need to have something solid," she explained.
At the awards ceremony, Shaq couldn't hold in his anger about his evil father any longer.
When he arrived, Ali was giving an interview to the press alongside Martine, talking about her breast cancer treatment. Ali dedicated his award to her.
But during his speech, as it was being recorded live, Shaq snapped and told Ali in front of the cameras: "How would your patients feel if they knew who you really were?"
Ali and Martine were both shocked at his outburst, but he continued: "He's a rapist. He raped my mum."
How will Misbah respond to her son's dramatic outburst?
