"It would have been weird if she and Brody had gone on for as long as they have with no bumps in the road. Something was bound to happen!"

Woodward said that Brody has a history with Warren - the fact that Sienna cheated on him with Warren is the worst-case scenario for Brody.

Explaining the difficulty of their relationship and whether there was room for forgiveness, Woodward said: "While it's devastating for Brody, it wakes him up to reality, and the fact that things weren't amazing between him and Sienna - but he's still heartbroken.

"Sienna's the love of Brody's life. But Brody can't see past this – I think it's just too big a thing. There's a chance of reconciliation later, but for now, it's just too painful to let something like this go..."

Woodward also mentioned newcomer Summer and said that Brody could potentially have a stable life with her as well as a proper family. However, he added that Brody can't help but enjoy what Sienna brings to his life.

He also explained that Brody will struggle to keep the secret about what happened to Summer's dad from her.

"Brody's someone who doesn't hide his guilt particularly well. I think rather than feel as if he needs to tell Summer, Brody feels a sense of responsibility to try to make amends. He's papering over the cracks," he explained.
