Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Benjamin O'Mahony has confirmed that he has exited the Channel 4 soap.
The County Lines villain was finally arrested last week after the villagers worked together to bring him down.
Obviously soaps love a good revenge story, and we did wonder if there would be repercussions, but for now, Victor is 100% out of the picture.
Posting on his Instagram page, O'Mahony shared a series of stills from filming, alongside another of a note on his dressing room door reading "Congratulations on wrapping!" He captioned the post: "Victor out. Cheers @hollyoaksofficial it's been fun! Ciao... for now."
The official Hollyoaks Instagram account shared the post and added: "Victor sure was a nasty piece of work, but @benjaminomahony is nothing but lovely! ❤️ All the best for the future Benjamin! Big love from all of us at Hollyoaks!"
So it looks like the door is open for a potential return down the line, but everyone can rest easy for the moment.
However, there is a lot of emotional fallout for people to unpack now that the dust is settling on Victor's reign of terror. Juliet in particular has a LOT of guilt that she is carrying. Can she work through her issues?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
