Hollyoaks' Bronagh Waugh has revealed that she gave birth to a baby boy three weeks ago.

The Cheryl Brady star, who has also appeared in titles such as The Fall, Unforgotten and most recently Viewpoint, took to Instagram on Wednesday (May 26) to post several snaps of her with the adorable newborn.

In the caption, Waugh wrote: "3 weeks of Heaven with my wee man, my little #cinquodemayo Baby. Mind blown. Heart bursting. I've never known tiredness like it but my God is it worth it! Completely & utterly in love."

Fellow Northern Irish actor Louisa Harland, who Waugh worked on one episode on hit comedy series Derry Girls, wrote: "We are sending you so much love."
