Yahoo News Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini opens up about mental health struggles

Former Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini has been praised by colleagues after posting a video about his mental health.
The star played Dennis Savage on the Channel 4 soap, and in a new social media video he tried to explain living with Emotional Unstable Personality Disorder (also known as BPD).
In the clip, Joe appears as himself against a split screen of him playing his BPD, and captioned the post: "I have Borderline Personality Disorder. He lives in my head and it's difficult to explain the symptoms, so I got him out to show you xx."
Since he posted the clip, a number of former fellow stars have praised Joe, including Ayden Callaghan (Joe Roscoe). He NSFW-ly joked of one part in the clip: "Those chocolate Santa's do look like cocks. This is great, love. Xxx."
Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen) added: "Your incredible such a genius!!!!!!," while James Sutton (John Paul McQueen) beamed: "Joe this is truly wonderful. X."
Following the positive response, Joe tweeted: "Thank you to the actual 1.3M people that have taken the time to watch this & try to understand something they didn't; whether it's in you, in somebody you know, or somebody you've lost.
"If you've said something to me I will reply it just takes a while. Truly, thank you xx."

Last year, Joe posted an emotional video on Twitter where he talked candidly about his BPD and previous substance abuse.
