'Hollyoaks' star Kirsty-Leigh Porter reveals that her daughter was stillborn
Hollyoaks actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter has revealed the tragic news that her daughter was stillborn just before Christmas.
The 30-year-old star and her partner of three years Paul announced that they were expecting their first child in November.
However, in a post to Instagram, she shared with fans the news that the baby girl, called Penny, was delivered stillborn on December 21.
With the message, she shared a picture of the hospital band, and feet and hand prints of their daughter.

“Our beautiful baby girl, Penny-Leigh Barber was born sleeping on the 21st of December 2018 at 6.49am, 29 weeks & 3 days young,” she wrote.
“My heart has never felt pain like it. Sleep sweetly our angel. We will always love you. Love your Mummy & Daddy. My Everything.”
Porter is best known for playing Leela Lomax in Hollyoaks, as well as previous roles in both Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
