Hollyoaks star raves about boyfriend as they celebrate anniversary

·2-min read

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has marked her six-month anniversary with boyfriend Tom Brookes, admitting that she "can't believe" she's lasted so long in a relationship.

Stephanie, who plays Cindy Cunningham on the Channel 4 soap, celebrated the mini milestone with an Instagram post, just a few months after going public with their relationship.

Alongside a loved-up selfie, the 'Oaks favourite paid a "soppy" tribute to Tom, saying that it feels as though they've been together for six years, not six months. (In a good way, naturally.)

She wrote: "Wow, I can't believe I have made it to 6 months in a relationship!!!

"Since our first date where we literally did not stop talking for hours, You have never once failed to make me feel so unbelievably loved by another person. You make me cry with laughter mainly at your expense and more often than not at the most inappropriate times."

Offering a frank insight into their life as a couple, Stephanie added: "I've called you a dick more than I have your own name and I love that we share a humour and honesty. I've never been happier than I am when I'm with you.

"Happy 6 months but feels like 6 years anniversary!!!"

Steph did offer a caveat, though, telling fans that if her original post is ever deleted, it means that "love is bullshit": "If this post is deleted in the next 6 months then it didn't work out, love is bullshit and I will finish my book Relationships and how to Ruin them!"

Let's hope Stephanie's good luck in love continues – although the same can't be said for her Hollyoaks character Cindy, who was not long dumped by Luke Morgan.

Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
