Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has hinted that Summer Ranger could be involved in a shooting when she discovers a gun belonging to Grace Black in upcoming episodes.
Actress Rhiannon Clements, who plays Summer, has revealed that, at first, she doesn't really know what she'll do with the gun, but that she is "out for revenge".
"Initially, Summer isn't sure what she'll do with the gun – she just knows she's out for revenge," Rhiannon Clements told Inside Soap.
"Summer isn't a stable person, she's done bad things, and she has no boundaries. So when she gets hold of the weapon, she definitely intends on doing some harm."
Summer has been trying to find out who was involved in last year's attack on her dad Cormac, and has long suspected that Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) had something to do with it.
Knowing she's onto him, Warren tells Summer all about his memories of Cormac and showing her pictures of them together to prove he wouldn't hurt him.
However, shortly after, Summer overhears a revealing conversation between him and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) about her dad.
"The conversation suggests they have done something to her dad," she explained. "This creates a lot of distress for Summer, as she realises she's been lied to by people she trusted.
"What she hears in that discussion will ultimately start the next chain of events."
The actress also revealed that things won't really turn out how Summer expects them to, so things look to become even more complicated for her.
"Summer's the type to act first, then react afterwards," she explains. "Yet things won't play out how she intended it – it's going to be a very dramatic and bumpy ride for her from this point forward."
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
