Yahoo News Hollyoaks star Rory Douglas-Speed names who he thinks Joel should be with
Hollyoaks' Joel Dexter is pretty naughty for a man of the cloth.
He's in a relationship with Goldie McQueen, but he recently went in for a kiss with Theresa, but that was interrupted by Cleo, his ex who it looks like he still has strong feelings for.
So with three women – all from the same family – involved, the question is who could, or rather should, Joel end up with. That will play out over time, but Digital Spy exclusively spoke to actor Rory Douglas-Speed about who he would like to see his character settle down with.
"I think Joel always will have feelings for Cleo," he said. "He's a pushover. He's always going to love her and again it's another string to that bow of maybe he's not entirely happy with Goldie.

"To be honest I don't think [a Joel/Cleo reunion] is ever going to happen at this rate. We don't know what happens in the storylines far in advance but I can't see it happening, although it would be ace wouldn't it? I think everybody would like it, everybody would want it.
"If he gets with Theresa, it would be lovely to see that bad side of Joel coming out again – I would love to do some research into that and bring that off the page and really change him as a character for that.

"To be honest, I think it would be so cool to have him back with Theresa just because you'd get another level of Joel which we have not seen really in the four years that I've been back in the show. I definitely think that would be the most exciting avenue."
So that's what Rory would like to see, but who do you think Joel should commit to?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
