Yahoo News Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn confirms Mandy will blackmail Luke

Hollyoaks' Mandy Richardson will indeed start blackmailing Luke Morgan next week, as she gets more desperate to stop the police finding out that Ella caused Jordan Price's death.
Scenes that will air next week will see Mandy start to panic when Yazz starts digging around, and Luke convinces her to come clean to the police sooner rather than later.
At first she says she'll come clean to Darren, but then she gets an idea after seeing Ollie doing something naughty.

Now actress Sarah Jayne Dunn has confirmed to Inside Soap that she will actively start blackmailing Luke in order to keep her secret.
"Mandy catches Ollie stealing money from the tip jar in The Dog, and forms a plan. She knows how close Luke and Ollie are, so she sees a chink in his armour – then basically blackmails him with the information she has! She knows that Luke wouldn't want to do anything to put Ollie in danger...
"As soon as Mandy shared the truth with Luke, she regretted it. It was a burden weighing heavily on her shoulders, and she needed to let it out.

"But she didn't expect Luke to want to go to the police about it – she thought he would support her, because he cares about Ella too. So Mandy is forced to go extremes to shut Luke up!"
The truth (almost) always comes out in soaps, but the question here is: how? Will Luke decide it's too important to be blackmailed, or will Mandy/Ella find it all too much and confess?
Hollyoaks is back to five episodes a week, airing 6:30pm on Channel 4 and 7pm on E4.
