Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis is a blonde no more!
The Sinead O'Connor actress was known for many years for her raven hair, until going for a more sunkissed blonde look over the last several months. From what we gather, she wasn't thrilled with the change.
Davis made a promise to her fans on Instagram that she was "never going blonde again" on Wednesday (October 9) while revealing that she'd returned to her iconic brunette locks.
"Back to black," she wrote in the caption. "Thank you to my amazing Josh for getting me back to the real me! Brunette Alwaysss💪🏼 Never going blonde again No Thankyou."
This switch back from blonde to brunette was a huge hit with her fans, with Instagram followers commenting that they'd "missed" her dark hair and telling her it "suits [her] perfectly".
The hair transformation comes during a time of transition in Davis's personal and professional life, following the recent news that she'd ended her relationship with Hollyoaks co-star Owen Warner.
However, there was a huge professional achievement this week when Davis won the Best Actress prize at the Inside Soap Awards for her comeback year as Sinead.
Her Best Actress win started off a string of wins for Hollyoaks at the Inside Soap Awards, including Best Soap and Best Actor for Adam Woodward (Brody Hudson).
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
