Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring teases cliffhanger ahead of Cindy exit
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has teased a huge cliffhanger ahead of her exit as Cindy Cunningham.
Back in February, Waring announced that she had been axed from the show after 28 years, as part of what she called an "actors reduction," saying she was "heartbroken" over the decision.
In upcoming episodes, Cindy begins to suspect her husband Dave of being the masked gangster Blue as Tom Cunningham figures out the mysterious criminal's true identity.

Fans of the soap will know that Dave Williams was revealed to audiences as the man behind the mask who has been responsible for terrorising the village.
As Tom begins to suspect his stepfather of abducting Mercedes McQueen's newborn twins, he attempts to tell Cindy who is reluctant to believe the man she married could commit such a crime.
With the truth about Dave dangerously close to being exposed, Waring opened up about what to expect from the gripping storyline as she bows out of the soap.

Asked what she can reveal about the nature of Cindy's exit from the village, Waring told Inside Soap: "There's a cliffhanger as to what Dave will do with Cindy and Tom once the truth is exposed, but that's all I'm saying!"
She continued: "I hope Cindy's final scene is a sad moment and has some sentimental resonance with the audience."
Asked what the future holds for Cindy, who we know doesn't die as part of her exit scenes after she leaves the village, Waring said she can imagine a happy future for her character.
"Cindy is a survivor. I think she'll find happiness somewhere and be living the good life," Waring explained. "I always wanted Cindy to be empowered, she's a savvy businesswoman so maybe she'll be running a bar. Whatever she does, she'll be in charge and have a man who adores her."
