The programme will see celebrities fighting their fears and learning to swim over the course of around 12 weeks. Rachel will be joined by the likes of former Olympian Linford Christie and Coronation Street star Sair Khan.
Rachel announced the news and shared a picture via Instagram, whilst also sharing her appreciation for recent birthday wishes: "Thank you for the birthday love guys! 28 and feeling blessed! 4years married, a nearly 2 yr old, & living my best life!
"I chose to take part in an epic show called #SinkOrSwim. A show where us non-swimmers learn to swim in under 12 weeks and take on THE ENGLISH CHANNEL.. I'm nuts and as my mummy says I clearly don't value my life lool. Starting Tuesday 27th [August] on Channel 4. All in aid for @su2cuk! X."
Her followers quickly praised Rachel's involvement through the comments section, with fellow Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey writing "Amazing" and EastEnders' Jessica Plummer noting: "Good on you lady!!".
