Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Summer Ranger has finally discovered the truth about Warren Fox leaving her father Cormac for dead in Hollyoaks.
The Oaks newcomer has suspected for weeks that Warren (Jamie Lomas) put her father in a coma, but has no idea Warren, Felix and Brody actually lashed out at Cormac over his abusive past.
In Friday's (February 19) first-look episode, Warren was determined to form a plan now that Cormac (James Gaddas) had woken up.
After Summer (Rhiannon Clements) accused Warren of being behind the attack in front of Brody and Sienna, the schemer desperately tried to convince her she was on the wrong track.
Warren dug out some old pictures of himself with Cormac when they were still close, and played up the fatherly role the abusive carer had in his life.
"Cormac was like a dad to me," Warren insisted.
Summer seemed convinced by Warren's explanation, even taking the photo of her father with Warren to show him at the hospital.
She later visited Cormac and admitted she'd misjudged Warren, but her father started to have another medical episode as soon as he saw the photo of himself with Warren.
Cormac's terrified reaction was all the proof Summer needed that her suspicions were correct all along about Warren being behind the attack.
"I was right, wasn't I?" she realised. "It was Warren Fox who attacked you."
The episode finished off with Cormac's fate unknown, and Summer determined to bring Warren to justice. But how will she feel if she finds out Brody was involved in covering up the attack?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
