Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks' Sienna Blake is more suspicious of Summer Ranger than ever after the newcomer showed a glimpse of her true colours in tonight's E4 first look episode.
With Sienna (Anna Passey) determined to unravel the mystery of who shot her, Summer (Rhiannon Clements) is still doing everything she can to cover up the fact that she was the culprit, including framing Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) for the shooting instead.
In tonight's (March 22) episode, Summer decided to change her revenge tactics after realising that Brody (Adam Woodward) is not as besotted with her as she wants him to be, and decided to try to befriend Sienna to keep her and Brody apart for good.
"Hope Sienna's in the market for a new best friend," Summer wrote in her diary.
Soon afterwards, Summer turned up on Sienna's doorstep to question her about her favourite girl band and insisted that she wanted the two of them to be friends.
Unfortunately, Summer's plans were then interrupted by an angry Warren, who was furious about Sienna's decision to deny him access to his children after believing he shot her while aiming for Brody.
When Summer noted that Warren could be armed, Sienna took steps to protect herself, and she and Summer ended up locked in the flat together.
With the two women left waiting for Warren to leave, Sienna ended up opening up briefly about her relationship with her dad and Summer responded in kind, prompting Sienna to invite Summer to stay a bit longer.
Before long, the women realised that they have a lot in common and began to bond. Just as Summer was about to leave, though, she brought up Sienna's relationship with Brody, and couldn't help but reveal the true motives behind her visit.
"You really are a sad little woman, aren't you?" Summer taunted her. "Even now you're still clinging on to the only decent bloke you've ever had, even though he's moved on to something better.
"Brody's with me now, Sienna. Me. And you really don't want to push me. You really don't want to see what lengths I will go to."
"You need to get out," Sienna seethed in response, before kicking Summer out.
"If that was meant to scare me into giving you and Brody a wide berth, well you really have no idea who you're dealing with."
The episode ended with Summer getting the last word in by sharing that she now has everything she needs to keep Sienna and Brody apart for good, but has Summer just made a big mistake?
Future spoilers have already revealed that Sienna will take an opportunity to make a public announcement about Summer to the village during tomorrow's first-look episode.
With Summer showing Sienna her true colours tonight, has she just provided Sienna with ammunition to expose her revenge plans for good?
One thing we do know is that Sienna will stop at nothing to get her revenge on Summer should she find out the truth about the shooting, at least according to actress Anna Passey.
"It doesn't matter who it was, there was always going to be revenge," she told Digital Spy recently. "There are so many things that Sienna can find out now. Even if Sienna finds out that it was actually Brody that Summer was aiming for, she'd want revenge for that.
"The audience should definitely look out for that," teased the actress.
Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing at 7pm on E4.
