Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Summer Ranger is set to face new suspicion over Sienna Blake's shooting in Hollyoaks.
The village newcomer accidentally shot love rival Sienna (Anna Passey) a few weeks ago, when she was actually aiming to take revenge on Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) over her father's attack.
Thus far, Summer (Rhiannon Clements) has managed to keep out of the line of suspicion by convincing Sienna that she'd just been caught up in a County Lines drugs dispute.
Things start to change in scenes airing the week of Monday (March 15) as Sienna continues to obsessively investigate her shooting without any leads.
Summer is feeling the pressure, but her attempts to rule herself out of suspicion have the opposite impact when Sienna's sister Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) notices her unusual behaviour.
Liberty starts to believe that Summer is hiding something important from them, leaving the culprit to come up with a plan to get herself off the hook ASAP.
Before the end of the week, Summer puts a plan into action designed to get away with the crime once and for all. Only time will tell if all of her plotting is successful…
Following the shooting scenes, Anna Passey warned that Sienna's devious side will definitely reappear should she ever find out the truth about Summer.
"It doesn't matter who it was, there was always going to be revenge," she told Digital Spy. "There are so many things that Sienna can find out now. Even if Sienna finds out that it was actually Brody that Summer was aiming for, she'd want revenge for that. The audience should definitely look out for that."
Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
