Hollyoaks teases huge changes for popular characters after time jump

Hollyoaks has teased some huge developments for village residents after the show’s much-anticipated time jump.
Next week, the soap will jump forward a year in time, following the dramatic events that are currently unfolding this week.
In Monday’s episode, Tony will reintroduce the cast of characters with hints of what they have been up to, and there will be an engagement and a birth.

But the drama doesn’t stop there, as Tuesday and Wednesday’s instalments (September 17 and 18) will bring more major developments.
In recent scenes, Vicky has become romantically involved with Ethan – but in this week’s episodes, Ethan will confess to his ex Sienna that he is still in love with her.
What becomes of these relationships remains to be seen, but in next week’s episodes, Vicky finds herself on the wrong side of Sienna.

She has had an eventful year in terms of her love life, and Sienna isn’t pleased that she is now a kept woman.
Sienna decides to take matters into her own hands and warns Vicky that if she isn’t yet afraid of her, she should be. Has Vicky made a new enemy?
Meanwhile, the Lomaxes come together at the hospital, and they celebrate the joy of new life. A new mum wants to focus on her career, so gives the dad a decision to make.

But later things turn sour when a secret relationship gets revealed, and the Lomaxes are divided. The new couple doesn’t let disapproving family stop their relationship from blossoming. However, when they decide to take the next step, cracks begin to show.
Viewers have recently seen Frankie open up about her brother JJ’s sexual abuse, but things take will take a turn this week when the family is caught up in the horrific accident in the village.
A year on, the Osbornes are continuing to rebuild their family after the tragic events. They still seek justice but are struggling to know what to do for the best.

Elsewhere, a resident who just about survived the devastating events of the previous year has been left seriously injured. They're finally starting to make progress in their recovery, but they soon discover that nothing will ever be the same.
While recovering, a patient is shocked to learn who has been sat by his bedside over the past year – have they really turned their life around?
Viewers will learn more about the past of one resident and find out that they have shocking ties to the village. All this and more are soon to be revealed…
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
