Hollyoaks teases killer Martha twist in Ethan death plot
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday's episode (November 27), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has given fans another clue in the puzzle of Ethan Williams' death.
On tonight's (November 27) streaming episode, Martha Blake was still reeling from the apparent revelation that she killed Ethan.
Her son Jez insisted she pushed Ethan to his death after learning he'd been unfaithful to Sienna.
"You confronted Ethan," Jez began, adding: "Things got very heated and you pushed him and the was the end of it."

In shock, Martha listened to Jez telling her she was in a confused state the night of Ethan's murder and kept calling him Charles. She swore she couldn't remember any of it and grew uneasy at the prospect of keeping yet another secret.
"You must have noticed how forgetful you've become," Jez said, adding that she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's "for real, this time".
Determined to go to the police despite Jez pleading with her not to, Martha sneaked out after leaving him a message on the window reading "sorry".
In the village, Jez bumped into John-Paul McQueen, letting him know he was looking for his mum and was worried as she had Alzheimer's.

Later on, Jez found Martha at Sienna's. Concerned his mum may have confessed to murdering Ethan, he reminded Sienna that Martha got things "mixed up".
However, Sienna was resentful towards Jez for keeping Martha's illness from her and kicked him out.
Once Sienna and Martha were alone again, Jez's mum got confused and called Sienna's kids Jeremy and Patrick. Keen to rekindle their relationship, Sienna invited Martha to live with her for as long as she needed.
"This is our chance to break old family patterns," she told her grandmother.

Enthusiastic at the idea of living with her "angel", Martha told Jez, who urged her to reconsider. Martha decided to go ahead with her plan and not burden her granddaughter with the truth.
It isn't clear whether Martha did actually kill Ethan or Jez is trying to manipulate his mum once again, but the episode's end hinted she's capable of murder.
Jez told Martha she couldn't have any more "incidents", adding: "This family have seen too many dead bodies."
"I won't lay a finger on anybody again…" she replied promptly. "Unless they give me a reason to."
Did Martha murder Ethan? And will Sienna find out what really happened on her wedding?
