Yahoo News Hollyoaks viewers are divided over new Harry/Ste kiss
Hollyoaks' Harry Thompson and Ste Hay have once again fallen back into old ways — dividing the fans of both #Jarry and #Starry.
Harry and boyfriend James Nightingale have been on shaky ground over Harry's desire to stay involved in his newborn son Isaac's life, following his birth in dramatic scenes earlier this week.
In Thursday's (July 18) first-look E4 episode, James placed doubt in his partner's mind about fatherhood by reminding him of how he'd left Ste in jail years ago.
James's manipulation had the opposite effect as intended because Harry rushed into Ste's comforting arms for support.
In spite of being rejected by Harry after trying to kiss him last week, Ste assured Harry that he's going to be a good dad by telling him: "This kid of yours is very lucky to have someone like you fighting his corner.
"You know why? Because you're amazing, okay?"

Old feelings took hold as Harry went in for a passionate kiss. Although he immediately regretted it, fans of #Jarry were worried about what this might mean for the couple:

Harry pied off Ste by telling him it was just a "goodbye kiss", making it clear that there was no hope of them ever reconciling.
"It isn't like we're ever going to get back together again," Harry told him. "I'm with James, and this path you're going down now, the stuff you believe in, I find it disgusting."
After rushing out on Ste, Harry returned the hospital to visit Sadie, where he got a rare bit of good news when she revealed she'd be going to police to give him an alibi for Grace Black's hit-and-run crash.
Before heading off to the police station, Harry decided it was best to come clean about everything, so he returned home to confess to James about wanting to be involved in his son's life… and about his kiss with Ste.
Although James played it off like he understood the mistake, his vengeful side came out when he once again drugged Harry — ensuring his boyfriend would miss his court hearing!
The episode finished on a cliffhanger, with James telling the unconscious Harry that police would have no choice but to issue a warrant for his arrest.
"You should have told Ste you were kissing him goodbye," he warned.
Harry's dad Tony Hutchinson had some serious problems of his own, since Harry's newfound fatherhood got him thinking about the many mistakes from his past.
When Ste angrily accused Tony of being a 'bad father' to Harry in Thursday's E4 episode, Tony unwittingly confessed his sins to Breda McQueen — the serial killer targeting all of the 'bad dads' in the village.
After hearing about his infamous affair with Sinead Shelby and his abandonment of Dee Dee, Breda looks ready to add Tony to her hit list…
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
