Hollyoaks dropped a huge twist in tonight's (November 29) first-look episode on E4, as Liberty Savage made a shocking suggestion to try and help out her sister, Sienna.

This week saw Sienna taking in Sid after finding out he'd resorted to sleeping rough following the recent death of his father Stuart.

She arrived home with Sid just as Liberty and Brody were gearing up to tell her the devastating news that her surrogacy plans couldn't move forward as her last embryo was no longer viable.

Sid's arrival halted their plans, meaning that Sienna still didn't learn the truth, and matters were made worse tonight when Liberty urged her sister to rethink her plan to foster Sid if it was going to split up her and Brody.

Although Sienna refused, Sid overheard the conversation and took matters into his own hands, calling up social services and requesting to be put into temporary care.

The teen departed on a high note, though, and thanked Sienna for giving him a chance, leaving her in a positive mood.

Back at home, Sienna announced that the surrogacy was back on before heading out of the house to pick up a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

The minute she left, Brody tried to convince Liberty that they had to come clean – but Liberty was apprehensive about what the news would do to Sienna's mental state.

Instead, Liberty suggested a controversial plan that would allow her to carry a baby that has both Sienna and Brody's DNA. She told her sister's partner that they should sleep together so that Liberty could get pregnant with Brody's child and pretend that the embryo came from Sienna.

It came as quite a shock to viewers at home, with many posing a major issue with Liberty's plan. Two words: turkey baster.

Something tells us Liberty's master plan is going to end in a great deal of heartache. Tune in to find out as the story unfolds in the coming weeks.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
