Home Alone eat-along movie nights coming to Newcastle bar for Christmas
Home Alone is without any shadow of a doubt a top tier Christmas movie and this year a Newcastle bar is giving people the chance to experience it like never before, with eat along movie nights.
Since launching earlier this year to great interest with Harry Potter themed events, Eatflix has become one of the most talked about culinary creations in the city, with extra dates having to be added to meet the huge demand. After the sell out out success of Harry Potter, the pressure was on the Alfie's team to follow it up with something even better and that's exactly what has been served up over the last few months with Willy Wonka Eatflix.
Guests have been treated to a 5D viewing experience, with them tucking into a specially crafted menu designed around the food and drink actually consumed in the famous film, brought to them at specific times so the dishes correspond with what's happening on screen. Treats included a cocktail inspired by the moment character Augustus Gloop goes up the pipe, a roast dinner in recognition of the gum stolen by Violet and the all important Wonka bar and now Alfie's is upping the ante even further as the festive season approaches by announcing its latest invention - eat along Home Alone screenings.

Number one on many must watch lists for Christmas ever single year, Home Alone is the 1990 movie that made a global star of Macaulay Culkin, as he plays Kevin McCallister, a child who is accidentally left behind by his family as they head on a Christmas vacation. Forced to defend his home against burglars, Kevin gets up to all sorts with his parents are gone, resulting a must-see film that is just as enjoyable 34 years later.
Alfie's Home Alone Eatflix sessions are set to launch in November, with owners promising 'the best one yet'. To get all the latest ticket updates, you can sign up to a pre-sale link HERE.
