'Home Alone' fans can spend the night at the McCallisters’ house for just $25 a night
Home Alone fans can live out a childhood dream by staying in the McCallisters' mansion from the classic 1990 film for just $25 a night.
It's one of the most Christmassy houses you'll ever see on film, and this December the sprawling Winnetka, Illinois, home is available to rent for one night only on Airbnb - with Kevin's mean older brother Buzz as host.

The listing is due to start taking bookings on 7 December, but you'll have to be quick as only one group of renters will get to stay in the house, for one night only on 12 December.
Actor Devin D Ratray, who played Buzz in the film and is a robber in the Disney+ reboot Home Sweet Home Alone, has explained a little more about what's on offer in his listing.
He wrote: "Many Christmases ago, the McCallisters went to Paris – well, most of us. Though we’re older and wiser now (I’ve even got my own security firm), we’re never too old for holiday hijinks.
"So while we’re away on vacation (all of us, this time), I’m inviting one crew of mischief makers to let their inner eight-year-olds run free in my childhood home on Dec. 12. Booking for this one-night stay opens Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. C.T."
Buzz points out that you won't be winning a free trip, so make sure you can arrange your own travel to Chicago at short notice.
He adds: "It’s a holiday wish come true: a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree awaits you at the McCallister 'castle' (oh, and so does my pet tarantula – mind watching him for me?), now bookable for the very first time.
"This holiday season, we’re playing by my little bro’s rules, so feel free to eat junk food, watch rubbish on TV, borrow my dad’s aftershave and choose your own adventure with a legendary battle plan as a guide. Just stay out of my room, okay?"
The classic family film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old who is left at home by himself when his large family go on a Christmas trip to Paris - but forget to take him with them on the early morning airport run.

However, a pair of local crooks believe the fancy house is empty and try to break in, with Kevin left to fend off their intrusion using toys, videos and all his most inventive tricks.
Buzz's listing continues: "After you’ve worked up an appetite, you can feast on all the comfort food your hearts desire, including plenty of Chicago’s finest pizza and a candlelit dinner of microwavable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese."
The actor has settled any nervous minds about the house being a target for bungling burglars, as he says a member of his McCallister Security team comes complete with the rental.
Airbnb will also make a donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital in honour of the one-time-only stay that promotes Home Sweet Home Alone.
