Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away's new murder mystery storyline begins on UK screens next week.
Summer Bay's residents are thrown into turmoil as news spreads that fishermen have found a body out in the water.
As the police are called, everyone's first assumption is that Mackenzie Booth – who recently went missing – has met a tragic end.
However, when Mac later turns up safe and well, speculation goes into overdrive as the locals wonder who is dead.
All becomes clear when the body is recovered from the water.
New policeman Cash Newman is alerted to a driver's licence that was found on the body. It belongs to Susie McAllister, who did a runner from the Bay weeks ago after conning John Palmer, Leah Patterson-Baker and Justin Morgan.
In the fallout from the revelation of Susie's death, John is first to be hauled in for questioning.
John is told that Susie was killed some time ago, so the text messages he had seemingly been exchanging with her in recent weeks weren't genuine. It's unclear why somebody had stolen her identity to fool John.
Leah and Justin are next to be quizzed, and it's not long before Justin's attitude starts to rub Cash up the wrong way. As Justin shows little sympathy for the woman who scammed him, he doesn't seem to be doing himself any favours as far as the investigation goes.
Cash is upfront with Justin by pointing out that he's the most likely suspect. Justin immediately shuts down and becomes uncooperative, refusing to answer any more questions until he has a lawyer present.
Later on, after also conducting an interview with scam victim Stephen Tennyson, Cash shares the news that the body has been officially identified as Susie.
All signs point to Susie being murdered, so the investigation will be stepping up a gear.
Irene becomes the fifth person to face a police quiz and she's horrified to realise that she's a suspect due to her acrimonious history with Susie. Could she have done the unthinkable?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, July 26, Tuesday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 28 at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5. Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
