Home and Away revisits Mason's death in sad scenes for Justin

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away will revisit Mason Morgan's tragic death in upcoming scenes, as his brother Justin is given a painful reminder of Mason's loss.

Mason was killed off in the soap's 2019 Australian season finale after being shot dead during a dramatic siege at the Northern Districts Hospital and was given an emotional send-off by the Summer Bay residents.

His brother Justin (James Stewart) is still in the Bay and is currently struggling with having his partner Leah Patterson-Baker's (Ada Nicodemou) wayward nephew, Theo Poulos (Matt Evans), around.

Both Justin and Leah are losing patience over Theo's lazy attitude and his lack of respect for others and, in scenes airing next week in the UK, Leah reads him his rights, reminding Theo of the lack of respect that he is showing the couple while he lives with them.

Leah is finally starting to realise that Theo has a poor attitude in the face of their attempts to help him, but when Justin grows increasingly angry over the situation, Theo leaves.

Leah tries her best to get through to Theo, telling him that Justin has actually been covering up some of his bad behaviour so that she wouldn't find out about it. Theo is surprised that Justin would do such a thing for him and promises to step up and be more responsible.

Theo approaches Justin and tries to extend an apology to him but Justin sees through his game. Theo promises that he wants to make their situation work for Leah's sake and Justin warns him that he has one last chance to prove himself.

The pair seem to be forming an uneasy truce at last, but it doesn't look like this will last long.

Theo decides to try to prove his good intentions by cleaning out the spare room and he picks up a box of Mason's things, inadvertently preparing to throw away the precious items. When Justin arrives home, he notices that Theo has disrupted Mason's belongings and angrily threatens him.

After racing to Leah, Theo tries to explain what has happened and she then realises what Theo almost threw away. When she explains to Theo whose belongings were in the box and what they meant, Theo feels terrible about what he almost did.

Leah later finds Justin at the garage. He admits that he reacted badly to seeing Mason's possessions almost being disposed of and also offers to work harder when it comes to not take things out on Theo in the future.

Back at home, Theo offers an apology to Justin and asks to know more about Mason. Justin soon opens up about how amazing his brother was, and it looks like he and Theo may be starting to build on their fractured relationship.

Can the warring pair start to form a friendship at last?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, January 13 and Friday, January 14 at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
