This article contains spoilers for Australian pace episodes of Home And Away which UK viewers may wish to avoid.
Home And Away is headed towards a very dramatic holiday season.
Before its traditional six-week break from UK screens at the end of the year, the Australian soap will leave Channel 5 viewers on a massive cliffhanger as someone attempts to murder Tane Parata.
An unknown suspect sets off a deadly pesticide at the gym and leaves Tane (Ethan Browne) for dead. But when the poison makes it to the air vents, it causes mayhem at Martha Stewart's (Belinda Giblin) mental health event next door.
While UK viewers will have to wait for the season finale in November to make up their own opinion on who did this, Australian viewers were treated to these scenes this week, and the latest trailer gives us a taste of what we can expect next.
Paramedics come in to rescue Tane who is still unconscious. As he gets carried out, he is seen flatlining. Will he survive?
Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) is the prime suspect. She's recently been under suspicion of stalking Tane after a brief fling with Tane but viewers don't yet have any evidence that it was actually her.
She seems adamant that she didn't do it, as her brother Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) warns her about the severity and that she'll need to come up with a good alibi.
But Felicity doesn't want to reveal to the police, who have been brought in to solve this case, what she was doing that night and asks her friend to lie and give her an alibi.
Cash, however, is torn between his police duties and his loyalty to his sister but it looks like he too might be suspecting Felicity when his girlfriend Jasmine confronts him.
Is Felicity making it all up? Will she be revealed as Tane's stalker? Or will the real attacker walk free?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
