Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away airs another unsettling twist in Tane Parata's stalker storyline on UK screens next week.

This week's episodes on Channel 5 have seen Tane (Ethan Browne) fight for his life in hospital after a mystery person tried to kill him.

The show's UK finale saw the stalker secretly drug Tane by spiking his drink. Once Tane was unconscious, the unknown individual then set up a chemical sprayer to kill him, endangering others in the process.

In next week's episodes, doctor Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) becomes concerned over the lack of progress that Tane is making at the hospital.

Tane's loved ones are in despair and things get even worse when his nephew Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) discovers that a delivery of red roses has been sent to his hospital room.

These are eerily similar to the roses that were repeatedly sent to Tane by the stalker in the run-up to the attack.

Nikau is sickened to realise that the person responsible is now taunting them at such an upsetting time – and he can't help suspecting that Felicity Newman is responsible.

Later, fearing that Tane may not recover, Logan suggests some experimental treatment instead.

Tane's older brother Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) reluctantly agrees to let him be involved in Logan's risky idea, which involves bio-scavengers.

Fortunately, the gamble pays off as Tane slowly regains consciousness.

Once Tane is talking again, everyone is keen to know how much he remembers about what happened.

Tane is unable to pinpoint a suspect, but he's baffled when he hears that Felicity is the main person in the frame.

Tane insists that Felicity is not capable of attempted murder and somebody else must be to blame. With an unlikely ally now in Felicity's corner, can the mystery finally be resolved?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Wednesday, January 12 and Thursday, January 13 at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
