Willow met up with detective Angelo Rosetta late at night and removed her wire, confirming that she had also covertly recorded Colby's earlier confession. At the same time, she looked devastated by what she felt she had to do.

Speaking to TV Week, Sarah hinted at the reason behind Willow's betrayal.

"It took a while to get my head around, but I could justify it in the way that she will do anything for her family – and I'm the same in my own life," she said.

With Bella Nixon and Dean Thompson also suffering from the recent drama with Colby and his killer secret, the star appeared to be suggesting that Willow believes she is protecting her friends.
